Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.
We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Master Patrick Childs
6th Degree Black Belt
Owner - Head Instructor
Master Childs started his karate training in 1994 at the age of 8, and earned his black belt on September 26th, 1998. He is currently holds the rank of 6th degree black belt. He also hold the rank of purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from World Jiu Jitsu Academy
Master Childs began teaching as an assistant instructor at the age of 16, but has been teaching full time as a head instructor since 2011. Currently, he and his wife own and operate K1 Karate.
Master Amanda Childs
5th Degree Black Belt
Owner - Little Dragons Instructor
Master Childs began her karate training at the age of 16, and earned her first degree black belt on August, 12th 2006 at the age of 19. She was promoted to 5th degree black belt on October 8th, 2022
In 2006 Master Childs started teaching the Little Dragons classes before continuing to work as a karate school office manager. Currently, she and her husband own and operate K1 Karate.
